Fun With Chalk

This week I've been having lots of fun coloring with chalk in the driveway.


I love it so much!


I like to stand with one foot each on a drawing I like.


And I don't try, but somehow my clothes always get covered in chalk by the end!

Balloonfest!

This weekend I enjoyed my first hot air balloon festival.


I was delighted in clapping when the balloons launched.




I loved watching the balloons go up...


Up...


And away!

And the Sandra Boynton Critters balloon with all of my storybook friends!

Happy Birthday Grandma

I had a fun-filled trip to Grandma's to celebrate her birthday.

The birthday party gang!


I played on the swing set.


Grandpa got me big bubbles that made me smile and laugh.


I brought a bit of sunshine for Great-Grandma.


I loved watching the birds with my cousin Oscar.

Metro Park Fun

Mommy and I enjoyed a fun trip to the Metro Park this afternoon.

I loved playing on the jungle gym.


I also got to see lots of animals at the farm center.


I tried feeding the goats some grass.


But my favorite was the broom :) .

This weekend I helped Mommy and Daddy start building my swingset.


I supervised a lot, and made sure the cuts were all straight.


I got to eat outside like a big boy at my own table


I ate the corn on the cob all by myself. Mmmmm.


Mommy, Daddy, and I fed the ducks - I love to watch them eat the bread I throw.

Friends, Family, and Fun

Last week I met several new friends; here I am bringing Matthew all my old baby toys.


I had a blast celebrating cousin Justin's birthday over the weekend.


I absolutely love watering with my very own watering cans.


That includes watering things like my sprinkler.

And yesterday, I got my hair cut into a stylish bowl-cut!

Weekend yard work

Today Mommy, Daddy, and I worked in the yard.


I did some prep work with the rake.


And I surveyed the flower bed we were working on.


I couldn't resist getting my hands dirty and helping out with the digging :)
