Staycation 2009, Day 5

Today we strolled through the Festival Downtown.

I got to chase the giant bubbles the older kids were making!

Later, Mommy shared her fruit smoothie with me.

It was sooo good :)

Staycation 2009, Day 4

Today we went to the Splash Park!


I got soaked and had a blast!


Mommy and I played in the fountains together.


And I found a fountain that was just my size!


Daddy and I checked out the lake.

And we all had a yummy picnic lunch.

Staycation 2009, Day 3

We saw lots of animals at the Nature Center today.
Mommy and I played with a Bobcat.


And Daddy and I visited my friend Woody.

Staycation 2009, Day 2

On Day 2, we went to the beach!


I walked on a sandy beach for the first time!


The water was a little cold, but that wouldn't stop me.


I played and splashed at the edge of the lake.


Daddy helped me build a sandcastle.


I gathered some sand myself to add to the castle.


After playing in the sand for awhile, I decided to do my crab crawl back into the water.


I found some more sand out there and wanted to share it.


Getting messy in the sand was really really fun.


I needed some food after all that playing, so we relaxed on the shore.


Daddy lent me his hat to keep the sun out, but it didn't work :)

Staycation 2009, Day 1

Staycation started with breakfast at the IHOP.


We went to the Learning Activity Center at the library.


There were so many interesting toys, I couldn't choose just one.


Mommy and I read books in the giant tree.


I found a fun apple in the bag of red toys.


And it looked soo tasty that I tried to eat it :)
